הנדסה גנטית – המאבק נמשך...

קבוצת הפעולה נגד מזון מהונדס גנטית יצאה "לעורר מודעות" באירוע האוכל השנתי של תל-אביב, "טעם העיר": הפעילים חילקו חומרי הסברה והציגו את הסכנות הטמונות במזון מהונדס גנטית.
המעונינים להצטרף לקבוצות הפעילות בתל אביב, חיפה או ירושלים מוזמנים ליצור קשר עם גיורא בטלפון 054.5712555.

כמו כן, ב-10/6, יום חמישי, תתקיים פגישת העשרה לפעילים בנושא הנדסה גנטית. הפגישה, המיועדת לפעילים מתחילים, או למי שרוצה להכיר את הנושא, תיערך בשעה 17:00 במשרדינו, רחוב מסילת וולפסון 8, שכונת פלורנטין, תל אביב. במידת היכולת, נא לתאם הגעה מראש במשרד: 03.5184770

יום לימוד בנושא מיליטריזם וסביבה.

ביום שישי ה-2.7 יתקיים יום לימוד משותף לפעילי/ות פעולה ירוקה ופרופיל חדש.
היום יפתח בסקירת ההשלכות הסביבתיות של מלחמה (לפניה, במהלכה ואחריה), לאור זאת נבחן את המצב בישראל – אילו השלכות סביבתיות יש לפעילות צבאית בארץ?
כמו כן ידונו: מעמדו המשפטי של צה"ל בנושאי סביבה, האופן שבו משתקפים מפגעים סביבתיים בתקשורת, בין אם הם תוצר הצבא ובין אם הם נדחקים החוצה על ידי נושאי הביטחון, ובאיזה אופן משמש החינוך הסביבתי, כביכול, כמנוף לקידום ערכים מיליטריסטיים. הזמנה מפורטת תישלח בהמשך. יש להירשם מראש בטלפון:

שחרורו של מרדכי ואנונו מהכלא היה הזדמנות טובה לעסוק לא רק באישיותו ובביקורתו על ישראל אלא גם בהיבטים הבטיחותיים והסביבתיים של פעילות הגרעין בישראל. אבל ואנונו נעלם מעין הציבור ואתו נעלם גם הדיון הציבורי על ענייני הגרעין.

הממסד הביטחוני בישראל בוודאי מרוצה מכך ששוב מניחים לו לנפשו ומאפשרים לו לנהל את ענייניו באותה שגרה חשאית. ואולם, הסיכונים הסביבתיים הכרוכים בפעילות גרעינית, וחוסר הידע על הנעשה במתקני הוועדה לאנרגיה אטומית, מחייבים הפעלת לחץ ציבורי בדרישה לקבלת מידע נוסף.


לא גאה להיות פלח שוק

לכבוד אירועי חודש הגאווה והשתתפותנו במצעד הגאווה בירושלים (היום, חמישי 3.6, 18:00) , מצורפים הפעם לעלון לינקים לשתי כתבות שקושרות בין המאבק ההומו לסבי לבין המאבק הסביבתי, ומוחות נגד הפיכת הקהילה לפלח שוק, באופן שמרוקן את המחאה הורודה מתוכן. לצערנו.

    Genetic Engineering – The battle is still going . . . The action group against genetically engineered food went out to "raise awareness" in the yearly food event in Tel Aviv, "Ta'am Ha'ir" : The activists handed out Info leaflets and explained the dangers in genetically engineered food. Whoever would like to join the action groups in Tel Aviv, Haifa or Jerusalem is more than welcomed to contact Giora : 054 – 571 2555
    As well, on Thursday – June the 10th at 17.00 o'clock in our office – 8th Mesilat Wolfson St, Florentin, Tel Aviv, a meeting will be held for activists who would like to enrich their knowledge about GMOs.     Fair Trade – news and events . . .
    Now for sale : soaps made of organic olives oil hand-made staright out from "Kfar Mas'ha". This is an addition to the olive oil which is already being soled. The soaps can be found for sale at our office – 8th Mesilat Wolfson St, Florentin, Tel Aviv. For further details and for arrival arrangements, please call : 050-770 6307.

    Educational Day about Militarism and environment
    On Friday, June the 2nd, there will be a joint day for the activists of Green Action and New Profile.
    The day will be opened by a review of the environmental implications of war (before, during and after), whilst the situation in Israel will be examined – Do military activities has environmental effects ?
    As well, more will be discussed : Tzahals' legal position at environmental issues, The way environmental nuisances are being reflected in the media, whether they are the product of the military or just being pushed away due to Security reasons, and in which manner does the environmental education helps promoting militaristic values, if at all.
