שנה חדשה לפרויקט הנוער של פעולה ירוקה!!!

השבוע החל המחזור הרביעי של פרויקט הנוער של פעולה ירוקה.ששת מתנדבי השרות האזרחי (גיא ,גיורא, נועה, נויה, אילת ודרור) שליוו אותנו במהלך השנה עוזבים ללימודים או טיול ומשאירים מאחוריהם ארגון קצת יותר גדול ומבוסס. אנו מאחלים להם הצלחה ומקווים שימשיכו לפעול עמנו גם בעתיד. אילת שסיימה את שירותה גם היא נשארת עמנו והיא תהיה הרכזת של פרויקט הנוער לשנה הקרובה. את הש"אים העוזבים מחליפים חמשת מתנדבי השרות האזרחי החדשים: אורן, ענבל, גיל, רענן ונורית שנכנסו לקומונה. חברי הצוות והוועד של פעולה ירוקה מאחלים להם שנה מהנה ומעשירה של פעילות נוער ואקטיביזם.

עם פתיחת השנה נפתחת מחדש ההרשמה לקבוצות הנוער של פעולה ירוקה. בנות ובני נוער בגילאי 15-18 המעונינים לפעול בנושאי סביבה וחברה ומעונינים להצטרף לקבוצת הפעילות מוזמנים להתקשר למשרדנו 03-5184770
הקבוצות שייפתחו השנה יהיו ב:

כפ"ס – מדריכים: נורית ורענן

עיר הנוער חיפה סיכום פעילות

כזכור, בגיליון הקודם דיווחנו על סירוב המארגנים לאפשר לנו להשתתף באירוע עיר הנוער בחיפה או בשמה החדש אחרי שנמכרה לתאגידים - אקזיט סיטי. המקומון החיפאי "כלבו" פרסם כתבה על עיר הנוער וכלל בו קטעים מן ההודעה לעיתונות שפרסמנו וכן את תגובת העירייה לנושא.
בסיכומו של דבר אכן הגענו למקום והקמנו דוכן בעזרת חברי "מגמה ירוקה" האדיבים שהכניסו אותנו ואת הציוד שלנו פנימה תחת שמם. כפי שצפינו, עיר הנוער נראתה ברובה כמו מקבץ פרסומות של ערוץ 2 והיא הייתה רצופת מתחמי מותגים ששעשעו את אלפי בני הנוער שהגיעו למקום עם הופעות פופ, פרסים טיפשיים והבטחה להופיע בערוץ 10. נושא הסביבה, שהיה כזכור "כותרת הארוע" נדחק לפינה צדדית של המתחם מאחורי תלולית חול בה מוקמו דוכני הארגונים המעטים שהגיעו. לא סילקו אותנו מהמקום גם כשגילו אותנו הסדרנים מטעם מועצת הנוער, גם הם הבינו כנראה שאיפה ששקיות דוגמית של החטיף "כריות" מתעופפות באוויר מידיהם של דיילות חשופות, לנושאי סביבה יש מעט מאוד סיכוי לזכות בלב בני הנוער.

לא רק לארגונים!

קרן של"י הינה קרן למענקים קטנים לקבוצות תושבים מקומיות וקהילתיות העוסקות בתחום איכות הסביבה. הקרן תומכת גם בקבוצות וועדים אשר אינם רשומים כעמותה ומאפשרת הזמנה להצעת פרויקטים בתחום איכות הסביבה

קרן של"י מזמינה קבוצות העוסקות בפעילויות ציבוריות בנושא איכות הסביבה וזקוקות לעזרה במימון פעילויות אלו, לפנות בבקשה לקבלת סיוע.
מטרת הקרן: לעודד פעילות ציבורית קהילתית המבוססת על התנדבות בנושאים ותחומים הקשורים לשיפור איכות הסביבה

רשאים לפנות רק גופים מאוגדים ללא מטרות רווח. אנו מציעים ליחידים בוועדי פעולה, לפנות לעמותת כדי שיגישו את הבקשות בשמם.

פניות שימצאו מתאימות יזכו במענק כספי עד 15,000 ₪

שינוי בהרגלי הצריכה – קהילת מחרוזת

קהילת מחרוזת היא קהילת סחר חליפין ישראלית הפועלת כבר 5 שנים והצליחה לבסס 6 קהילות מקומיות. בעזרת סחר החילפין (בחרוזים) מנסים החברים לבנות קהילה תומכת ולא מנוכרת, לבצע מסחר בצורה ישירה ללא תיווך של בנקים או גורמים ממשלתיים וליצור בסיס כלכלי קהילתי יציב המקנה לשירותי ולמוצרים את ערכם האמיתי (בניגוד לסחר העולמי בו ערכם של מוצרים ושירותים משתנה ללא הרף עקב אינפלציה וספקולציות של בעלי הון).

הקהילה הישראלית היא אמנם קטנה וצעירה עדיין אבל בעולם קיימות כבר קהילות וותיקות ובנות מאות ואלפי חברים. כמו המקבילה הישראלית גם קהילות אלו מנסות לפתח מודל כלכלי-קהילתי המציב אלטרנטיבה פרקטית לסחר הגלובלי המנוכר והדורסני. L.E.T.S היא רשת וותיקה של קהילות סחר חליפין כאלו והיא גם זו ששימשה מודל לקהילה הישראלית. באתר שלהם ניתן ללמוד על אופן השיטה ועל מגוון הקהילות החברות ברשת וגם לקרוא סיפור על בחור בשם ג'יימס טריס שטייל בעולם במשך 400 יום בלי כסף!!!

מדור "נגד הזרם" בYnet פרסם כתבה המציגה את קהילת מחרוזת, מתארת את אופי הקהילה ואת האידיאולוגיה של האנשים העומדים מאחוריה.

A new year of green-action’s youth project

The youth project fourth cycle has started in the passing week, the six community volunteers (Guy, Giora, Noa, Noya, Aylet and Dror) that gave us their support and guidance through the year are leaving to acquire formal education or world wide journeys while leaving behind a bit larger and solid organization. We wish them bon voyage and hope they’ll continue their activities with us in the future. Aylet is continuing with us and will take position of the youth project organizer for the following year. In order to replace the previous volunteers, five new ones have already entered the commune: Oren, Inbal, Gil, Ra`anan and Norit. Green-Action’s crew and board would like to wish them an enjoyable and enlightening year of youth activities and activism.

With the new coming year, we are reopening the subscription for our youth groups. Teenagers aged 15-18 years old who are willing to take part in environmental and social activism are welcomed to join our groups by calling our office (03-5184770).
Next year’s groups are:
Jerusalem, Guided by: Inbal, Oren.
Kfar Saba: Norit, Ra`anan.
Tel Aviv: Gil, Aylet.

Haifa’s youth city events, conclusions

As you might remember, in the last newsletter we reported about the youth city organizers refusal to let us take part of the events (or by their new name after being sold to big corporations – Exzit City). The Haifa’s local newspaper “Kol-Bo” published an article about the events, which contained parts of our statements that were released to the press, followed by the municipality authority response to the subject. In conclusion, we did show up for the events and rose up a stand with the courteously of “Megama Yeruka” (Green Tendency) members. As we expected, the entire site was designed as it was a huge commercial break from TV channel 2, with numerous brand-names areas that amused the youth with POP shows, foolish prizes and the chance they might end up having some Channel 10 screen time.

The environmental subject, that was suppose to be the leading title of the event was pushed to the side corner of the site right behind a sand dune, where the administration gathered all the few organization that did come to make a stand. Even when attendants from the youth council found out who we are, they didn’t expel us from the event, I guess that even they realized that in a place where snacks are tossed in the air from the hands of stewardess in minimal clothing, the environmental subject have little to offer to the youth masses.

Not only for organizations!

The Sheli foundation is a foundation that grants small amount of money for groups of local citizens and communities that deal with the quality of the environment. The foundation also supports small groups that are not part of the fellowship societies registrar.

Propose an environmental project!

The Sheli foundation invites groups that deal with environmental issues among the community and need help with funding, to approach and ask for one.

The foundation goals: to encourage environmental activism, based upon a community of volunteers, and deal with the quality of the environment issues.

Only organized groups without profit goals are allowed to apply. We suggest that individuals will approach these groups and ask them to apply their request for them.

Worthy requests would be granted with up to 15,000 NIS

A change in consumer’s habits – “Ha-Machrozet”

Ha-Machrozet (The necklace community) is an Israeli trade community that works for the last 5 years and successfully established 6 local communities. The trade is preformed using beads and the members are trying to build and run a supportive and unalienated community, to perform trade directly without the intermediation of banks or governmental authorities, and to create a solid economic community that sells and buys services and products by their real value (in opposed to the world trade where the value of services and products is constantly changing as a function of inflation and the plutocrats)

The Israeli community is indeed small and young, but around the world there are already mature and stable communities, with hundreds and thousands active members. Like the Israeli community, they as well try to develop a new economic-community model that gives an alternative to the alienated and destructive world trade. L.E.T.S is the oldest network of these kinds of trade communities, and the one that was used as a role model for the Israeli one. I strongly recommend visiting the website where you can learn about the trade method and even read the story of James Taris who traveled the world for 400 days without any money!
