פגישת פעילים לקראת יום חופשי מקניות
ביום רביעי ה-6.10 בשעה 11:00 נערוך פגישת פעילים לקראת יום חופשי מקניות (שיתקיים השנה ב-26.11). מטרת הפגישה היא לתאם ולתכנן את האירועים השונים שיערכו במהלך היום. כיצד ומה ניתן לחדש ולהמשיך לאתגר את דפוסי החשיבה והצריכה שלנו ושל הציבור הרחב?

פעילות לכבוד היום הבינלאומי נגד מקדונלדס' -- עוד אפשר להצטרף!
לפני כשבוע התקיימה פגישת הכנה לתכנון "היום הבינלאומי נגד מקדונלדס" שייערך השנה ביום שישי ה- 15 לאוקטובר בגינת שינקין בת"א. בגינה יוצבו גלריות שיסקרו את הנזקים שגורמת רשת העק לסביבה, לבני אדם ולבעלי חיים. כמו כן יערכו במקום הפעלות לילדים (יותר כיף מההפעלות של רונלד מקדולנד!), תצא תהלוכה חגיגית ותוגש ארוחת צהרים ממטבחם של "אוכל במקום פצצות" -- חלופה זולה, בריאה וסביבתית לזבל שמציעות לנו רשתות המזון המהיר.

בנית תשתיות אקולוגיות בסוכת בת-שלום
לקיים דיונים פוליטיים, הרצאות, וסדנאות שעוסקים בכיבוש בגזענות ובמדיניות האפליה בחברה הישראלית. השנה עלה הרעיון לרענן את הפעילות בסוכה לעשות אותה ברוח אקטיביסטית יותר ולשתף ארגונים נוספים בעשייה.
השותפות של פעולה ירוקה תתבטא בהקמתה של תשתית אקולוגית לאירוע -- החל בשירותים וכלה באספקת כל צרכי החשמל של האירוע באמצעות מערכת סולארית ניידת. אם אתם מעונינים ללמוד איך עושים את זה -- צרו קשר עם נורית עוד היום: 5614529 - 054
מוכשר/ת להיות פעיל/ה!
נפתחת תכנית הכשרה לפעילי סביבה. התכנית מיועדת למספר מצומצם של פעילים ופעילות אשר שואפים להרחיב את הידע והכלים העומדים לרשותם בתחום השינוי החברתי-סביבתי. במהלך החודשים הקרובים ניזום מפגשים עם דוברים שונים במטרה:
- להעניק כלים להשגת יעדים ציבוריים (כלים ליצירת "שינוי חברתי")
- לקבל העשרה תכנית בנושאים הקרובים לפעילותנו.
- ללמוד כלים ליישום פתרונות סביבתיים בחיי היום-יום ובאירועים של הארגון.
- לעבוד בקבוצה, להחליט ולפעול יחד!
תכנית המפגשים הקרובים:
14.10 - איך עושים יחסי ציבור בקמפיין לשינוי חברתי, אלכס בילצקי, פרסומאי וחבר הנהלת אג'נדה.
21.10 מפת הארגונים הסביבתיים בישראל ומגמות משתנות בשיח הסביבתי, אלונה ורדי, רכזת סביבה וקהילה, שתי"ל.

פורום תנועות הנוער פותח שנה!
פורום תנועות הנוער הוקם בשנה שעברה, וחברים בו נציגים מרוב תנועות הנוער בארץ.
מטרת הפורום היא לעורר מודעות לנושאים אקולוגיים וליזום פרוייקטים משותפים בנושא איכות הסביבה.
הפגישה הראשונה השנה התקיימה בשבוע שעבר, והוחלט בה על מטרות הפורום להשנה, ביניהן יצרת מאגר פעולות בנושא איכות הסביבה וקידום אורך חיים אקולוגיים בקומונות של התנועות.

פעולה בצינור הביוב ביפו.
כידוע לכם (או לא) כבר מספר חודשים משקיעה העירייה סכומי עתק בבניית תשתית ביוב מעל פני הקרקע שמהווה מטרד לכל תושבי יפו והסביבה, מדובר בצינור גדול ומסורבל שמתוכנן להעביר בתוכו את כל שפכי גוש-דן. השבוע החלטנו לעורר את המודעות לנושא בכתובות גרפיטי מקושטות שיגידו מה אנחנו חושבים על הצינור.בשעת לילה מאוחרת יצאו פעילים ופעילות לטיול אמנותי בשדרות ירושלים...

ביום שישי (כנראה) בשעה 20:00 בתוכנית "יומן" בחדשות מבט בערוץ 1 תשודר כתבה שערך גיל סדן בנושא גרפיטי.כולל צילומים וראיונות, מומלץ.
סדנת כיבוש תרבות, פסטיבל בראשית
שבת 2.10, 13:00-16:00
הרצאה: בהרצאה יסופר על כיבוש ושיבוש תרבות בעולם ובארץ, על קבוצת "אדבאסטרס" האמריקאית וקבוצות נוספות, ויפורט על פעילויות קבוצת כיבוש תרבות התל-אביבית.
גלריה: שלטי תנועה מעשה עבודת כפיים, בעלי מסרים אנטי-תאגידיים, מהווים את הרקע לגלריה. על השלטים מודבקות תמונות של אמנות רחוב מפעילויות קודמות של קבוצת כיבוש תרבות.
סדנת יצירה: לרשות המשתתפים בפעילות יועמד פוסטר פרסומי של תחנת אוטובוס, וחמרי יצירה. על צידו החלק של הפוסטר יבטאו המשתתפים את רחשי ליבם באמצעות נצנצים, גואש, גדרי עיתונים ופיסות פרסומות צבעוניות. הפוסטר ייתלה באחת מתחנות האוטובוס בת"א, או בעיר אחרת לפי בקשת המשתתפים. כמו-כן, בסוף הפעילות יחולקו שבלונות קרטון עם המסר "כיבוש תרבות".
פרוייקט חברתי סביבתי "שומר הנגב" מול רמת חובב.
פרוייקט "שומר הנגב" מאחד לקואליציה ארגונים חברתיים-סביבתיים, אזרחים מודאגים, מועצות מקומיות, קיבוצים, מוסדות ועוד ... לרשימה חלקית שהולכת וגדלה.
בימים אלה, במסגרת הפרוייקט מתגבשת קואליציה רחבה שכוללת
1. הקמת פסל ענק מימדים בשם "שומר הנגב" - עבודת כפיים שכולם מוזמנים להשתתף בה.
2. פסטיבל "שומר הנגב" - עם מערך הסברה נרחב ומגובש, כולל הצעות פתרונות חלופיים.
3. הקמת בוסתן מאחורי "שומר הנגב".
4. כל חברי הקואליציה תומכים באג'נדת החיים של שומר הנגב עליה יחתמו תושבי הנגב והקהל הרחב.

אוכלים מקומי (וזול) -- גילוי השבוע של קומונת פעולה ירוקה.
מסעדה סודית (כבר לא..) ומגניבה שנמצאת בבנין ברחוב המשביר 22 בפלורנטין (קרוב למשרד, סיבה טובה להגיע לאזור ולבדוק מה קורה...) -- צמחונית לגמרי, טבעונית חלקית, שמציעה אוכל הודי במחירים שווים לכל נפש (המנה היקרה ביותר עולה 21 ש"ח) ללא כל פוזה או מיתוג.
בקומה הראשונה יש שולחנות ומעין בר, בקומה השנייה יש שולחן ביליארד ומקומות לשבת והקומה השלישית שהיא הגג מורכבת מהמון ספות ולונגים באויר הנעים, אם זה לא מספיק, יש מסך ענק ומקרן ובמהלך הערב מוקרנים סרטים והופעות לבחירת הקהל (הידידותי גם הוא).

Consumerism imprisons us.
We are trapped in an endless race for money, and products, and more money, and more products. Life is a continuous game of monopoly. Buy buy buy. And in this game we can only lose.
Buy Nothing Day is our chance for a "get out of jail!" card. One day in which we don't buy, but rather spend our time on ourselves, on our friends, our families, on people on the street. We invite you to be a part of the thought and action team for Buy Nothing Day. In this seminar we will learn and think together about consumerism, and plan Buy Nothing Day 2004 together.

Buy Nothing Day Activist Meeting
On Wednesday the 6.10 at 11:00 we will hold an activist meeting in preparation for this year's Buy Nothing Day (26.11). The purpose of the meeting is to coordinate and plan the various events held during the day. How to innovate and continue challenging our own and the general public's thinking patterns?

International Anti-McDonalds Day Activities - You Can still Join!
A week ago a preparation and planning meeting for the international Anti-McDonalds day (this year on Friday the 15.10 in Shenkin Garden, Tel-Aviv) took place in Salon Mazal. Galleries and exhibits will be placed in the garden, demonstrating the damages caused by the giant chain to the environment, to humans and to animals. We will also hold children activities and creative workshops (more fun than Ronald McDonalds'!), march in festive costumes and serve lunch from the kitchen of "Food not Bombs" -- a cheap, healthy and environmental alternative to the junk marketed by the fast food chains.
Ecological Facilities in Bat-Shalom Soukka
Every year for ten years at soukkot, feminist women construct a peace soukka in Megido junction, in which political discussions and workshops dealing with racism, occupation, and the Israeli discrimination policy, are customary. This year the idea came up to construct the Soukka with a more activist spirit, freshen the activities and involve more organizations in the Soukka.
We will join through the construction of ecological facilities for the event -- from toilets to supplying all the electricity needs for the event with a portable solar panel. If you are interested in learning how it's done -- contact Nurit today: 0545614539
Qualified for Action
We are opening a qualification program for environmental activists. The program is arranged for a small number of activists who wish to expand their knowledge and tools regarding social-environmental change. During the next few months we will hold meetings with various speakers in order to:
- learn tools for the achievement of public goals (tools for creating social change).
- Learn new and relevant information
- Learn how to realize environmental solutions in day-to-day life and in organisational events.
- Work in a team, decide and act together!

The Youth Movements Forum Activities Begin!
The youth movements forum was founded last year, and includes representatives from most of Israels youth movements. The forums purpose is to raise awareness of ecological issues and initiate joint ecological projects.
The first meeting was held last week, in which it was decided on this years forum goals, among which are creating an activity database on ecology and promoting an ecological lifestyle in the movements communes.

Yaffo Sewege Pipe Activity
As you may or may not know, for several months now the Tel-Aviv Yaffo municipality has been investing massive funds in building an above ground sewage infrastructure, a nuisance to all the inhabitants of Yaffo. The plan is to drain all of Gush Dans sewage through this large, clumsy pipe. This week we decided to raise awareness to this issue by sparying graffiti expressing our take on the pipe. Late at night activists took an artistic trip through Jerusalem avenue.. the results can be seen live in Yaffo, through this link, or on the program Yoman on Mabat News, channel one, at 20:00. The report was edited by Gil Sadan in a piece about street art. Interviews included.
Culture Jamming workshop, Bereshit Festival
Saturday 2.10, 13:00-16:00
Lecture: we will discuss local and international culture jamming, the American Adbusters group and other groups, and detail the activities of our Tel Aviv culture jamming group.
Gallery: handywork traffic signs with anti-corporate messeges serve as our gallerys background. On them are pictures of street art from our previous culture jamming activities.
Creative Workshop: a bus station advertising poster and creative materials will be at the disposal of the participants. On the blank back of the poster, they will express their artistic ambitions using glitters, paint, paper clips and colourful bits of advertising. The poster will be inserted into a Tel Aviv bus station, or in another city at the request of the participants. Also, we will hand out Culture Jamming suveniers at the end of our activity.
Environmental-Social Project "Negev Watcher" in Ramat Hovev
The "Negev Watcher" project unites social-environmental organizations, concerned citizens, local municipalities, communal villages (kibbutz), institutions and others, into a coalition. The partial list is still growing.
These days, the coalition is planning a wide range of activities including:
1. building a giant statue called "Negev Watcher" - physical labor everyone is invited to participate in.
2. Negev Watcher festival-along with a wide and consolidated information panel, including alternative solutions and suggestions.
3. Planting and constructing an orchard behind the Negev Watcher
4. All the coalition members support the life agenda of Negev Watcher, which will be signed by the Negev populance and the general public.

Eating Locally (and Economically) -- The Green Action Commune Weekly Discovery
A (no longer) secret restaurant located in building number 22 on Hamashbir street in Florentin (near the office, and a good reason to visit) - entirely vegetarian, partially vegan, offering Indian food and more in fair prices (the most expensive dish on the menu costs 21 shekels), completely unbranded and unpretentious.
On the first floor are tables and a sort of bar, on the second a pool table and seating, and on the third floor, which is the roof, sofas abound in the pleasant air.
If this isn't enough, movies and performances are projected throughout the evening on a giant screen, chosen by the (also friendly) audience present.
Street-Art -- adopted from "walla!"
Rotem Rozental enjoys the urban art crimes in Tel-Aviv and thinks the city has become a gallery for the masses.
