אסיפת העמותה השנתית של פעולה ירוקה!
בימים אלו אנו, פעילי וצוות פעולה ירוקה, פונים אליכם פעילים וחברים, ומזמינים אתכם להצטרף אלינו. בשנים האחרונות התרחבנו, פרויקטים חדשים נפתחו והיקף הפעילות גדל, ואנו חשים כי קיים צורך בהרחבת המעגלים שדנים, חושבים ועושים "פעולה ירוקה".
ביום שלישי, 21.12.04 בשעה 19:00, נקיים במשרדנו אסיפת עמותה שנתית. לגבינו, זאת הזדמנות לעדכן לגבי הפעילות המתקיימת בפרויקטים השונים ולהציע אפיקי השתלבות בפעילות. עבורכם זו יכולה להיות הזדמנות לחזור ולהכיר את פעולה ירוקה, לדון בכיוונים אליה היא מתקדמת, לחשוב יחד על רעיונות וכלים חדשים ולהצטרף לצוותי פעולה.

19:00-20:00 בחירת יו"ר, בחירת מזכיר, הצעת וקבלת חברי ועד, מינוי ועדת ביקורת, אישור מורשה חתימה, אישור מאזן כספי, מינוי ועדת ביקורת, אישור מורשי חתימה, אישור תקנון.
20:00- 20:30 הצגת הפרויקטים והקבוצות בקיצור.
20:30 דיון בנושא הפסטיבל הרביעי לאקטיביזם - כיווני פעולה חדשים ורענון יעדים.
אך לא מדובר רק על סדר היום הפורמלי, חשוב לנו שתגיעו -- בואו, לא רק כדי להצביע על הוועד -- פעולה ירוקה זה אתם!

יצאה לאור: חוברת הדרכה -- צדק לאדם, צדק לאדמה
בשנים האחרונות חלה נסיגה בחתירה לקיומה של חברה צודקת והעמיקו הפערים הכלכליים והחברתיים בישראל. לצד התעשרות רבה של יחידים העמיק והתרחב העוני בקרב חלקים גדולים באוכלוסייה. נוצר מצב המחייב תיקון ושינוי המדיניות, בין השאר על ידי עיסוק ציבורי רחב בנושאים של צדק חברתי וסביבתי.
חוברת ההדרכה "צדק לאדם, צדק לאדמה" מזכירה לנו כי עלינו לשמור נכסי הכלל בבעלות הציבור ובשליטתו, כך שיובטח האינטרס הציבורי, בכלל זה: קרקע, מים, אויר, אוצרות טבע, אנרגיה, תשתיות וכו'. החוברת מאפשרת לנו לסגל נקודת מבט ביקורתית הבוחנת את השכונה והעיר שלנו דרך משקפת הצדק הסביבתי ולרכוש מחדש את הקשר לאדמה.

הפסטיבל הרביעי לאקטיביזם -- מתחילים!
בימים אלו מתחילה העבודה לקראת הפסטיבל הרביעי לאקטיביזם שיתקיים השנה בשבועות, ככל הנראה בעיר לוד. שאיפתנו היא ליצור השנה חיבור חזק יותר בין קהילת הפעילים לבין קהילה מקומית המתעוררת לעשייה. אנו קוראים לכל מי שיש לו/ה עניין בלקיחת חלק בתכנון, חשיבה והפקה של הפסטיבל, ליצור קשר עם עינת בטל': 052.3554815

פרויקט סחר הוגן קורם עור וגידים ומזמין אתכם, היפים והאמיצות להצטרף! אם את/ה בעל/ת כישרון מיוחד או משלח יד רלוונטי (יבוא, שיווק מזון, עיצוב ואפילו פרסום), או אם מעניין אותך ומתחשק לך לעזור - בואו להצטרף לצוות חשיבה שיפגש אחת לחודש ויהיה שותף לקבלת החלטות שוטפת בפרויקט.
בראשית פברואר הולכים להגיע סוף-סוף המוצרים המיובאים: קפה, תה וקקאו סחר הוגן, ובנוסף אליהם יתחיל להימכר שמן הזית הפלסטיני האורגני. את המוצרים יעצבו סטודנטים לעיצוב ותקשורת חזותית בבצלאל, בהנחיית רותי קנטור. המוצרים מתוכננים להימכר בדוכנים ובהפצה ישירה, ויתכן שגם דרך בתי קפה וחנויות טבע ובריאות. יחד עם זאת, שאלות רבות עודן עומדות על הפרק, בצד היישומי והאידיאולוגי כאחד, ואנו מעוניינים לשתף אתכם, חברי פעולה ירוקה במחשבות ובלבטים, על מנת לבנות פרויקט משמעותי ואפקטיבי במיוחד.

פולמוס בתנועה הסביבתית העולמית! מק צ'אפין, אתנרופולוג שעבר במשך שנים עם קהילות של ילידים בעולם, טוען שארגוני הסביבה העשירים עושים יד אחת עם הכוחות המאיימים על התרבויות המקומיות. המאמר שפירסם בגיליון האחרון של worldwatch מעורר סערה בקרב פעילים.

אקולונוע 2004: פסטיבל סרטים חברתי-סביבתי, 9-10/12/2004, סינמטק תל אביב.
פסטיבל אקולנוע -- ימי איכות הסביבה בסינמטק תל-אביב -הוא אירוע ראשון מסוגו בישראל. בעולם מתקיימים מעל 10 פסטיבלים בסגנון זה כאשר הגדולים ביניהם מושכים קהל של אלפים.
עומדים מאחורי הפסטיבל הארגונים הסביבתיים- חיים וסביבה, מגמה ירוקה , ידידי כדור הארץ והחברה להגנת הטבע בשיתוף סינמטק תל-אביב והמשרד לאיכות הסביבה. יוקרנו בו סרטים סביבתיים מהארץ, וסרטים בינ"ל שזכו בפסטיבלים לסרטי סביבה וחברה בעולם.
הפסטיבל יהווה במה קולנועית לסיפורים ורעיונות סביבתיים.
מטרתנו ליצור פסטיבל מושך ומהנה המציג את הסרטים הטובים ביותר בקטיגוריה זו.
אנו רואים בפסטיבל מקום לעידוד יצירה קולנועית של יוצרים וסטודנטים ישראלים בנושא איכות הסביבה. מטרתנו היא כי החל משנה הבאה תתקיים תחרות סרטים ישראליים נושאת פרסים במסגרת הפסטיבל. אנו מצפים כי התחרות תהווה גורם חשוב בעידוד עשייה קולנועית סביבתית בישראל.
הקולנוע הדוקומנטרי והעלילתי בישראל נמצאים בתקופת פריחה משמעותית ביותר. בעשייה הקולנועית העשירה בארץ עדיין נדירים הסרטים הנוגעים בבעיות ונושאים סביבתיים. פסטיבל זה נועד לשים על המפה הקולנועית את הסביבה, ולשים את הקולנוע על המפה של התנועה הסביבתית.

סדנת 'שומרי הגן לאקטיביסטים'.
הסדנא מיועדת לכל חברינו הטובים שנלחמים נגד הרעים להצלת העולם. אידיאולוגיות, תאגידים, רשויות שלטון, יזמים, לפעמים נדמה לנו שאנו עומדים מול יצור ענק ומרושע בחוסר אונים. יצור שכל תכליתו היא לצבור עוד כוח, כסף ושררה, כמובן על חשבון בני האדם ורקמת החיים המקיימת אותנו. הדרקון אינו בוחל בזריעת ניכור, פחד וחוסר אמון בלב בני האדם, כאסטרטגיה עיקרית לסיפוק תאוותו. בעזרת קיסמי אשליה הוא מושך בני אדם לשרת אותו בהערצה.
בסדנא נלמד אסטרטגית פעולה, וטכניקות מעשיות. בחומר וברוח. נלמד כיצד להתגנב אל הדרקון, לכוון ולפגוע בלבו, ולאלף אותו. נלמד איך להגן על עצמנו ועל חברינו, בזמן שאנו נאבקים להצלת העולם.
הסדנא תתקיים ב 17-18/12/04. תתחיל ביום שישי בצהרים ותסתיים במוצ"ש, מעט אחרי השקיעה. דמי השתתפות 70-200 ש"ח, לפי היכולת. נבשל אוכל טבעוני, כדאי להביא כלי אוכל אישיים. להביא שק שינה, ישנים בטיפי. הסדנא תתקיים בכל מזג אוויר.

These days we, the activists and workteam of Green Action, turn to you, members and activists, and invite you to join us. In the past years we have expanded, new projects have been initiated and our span of activity has grown, and we feel the need to broaden the circles discussing, thinking and doing green actions.
On Tuesday, the 21.12.04, at 19:00, we will hold a yearly organisation conference in our office. To us, this is an oppurtunity to update you on the progress of the various projects and offer options for joining the activities. For you this could be a chance to get to know Green Action again, to discuss the directions it's going, to think together of new ideas and tools and to join action teams.
On the conference schedule:
18:45 gathering, snacks and mingling
19:00 - 20:00 - choosing the chairman, choosing the secretary, suggesting and accepting committee members, choosing a review committee, confirming authorised signatures, confirming the monetary balance, conforming the regulations.
20:00 - 20:30 - presenting the projects and groups shortly.
20:30 - a discussion regarding the fourth activism festival - new directions of action and reviewing of goals.
But it's not just about the formal schedule, it's important to us that you arrive - come not only to influence the committee - Green Action is you!

Now Published: Teaching Manual - Justice for Man, Justice for Land
In the past years there has been a withdrawal in the struggle for a just society and the economical and social gaps in israel have broadened. Next to the clime of individuals the poverty broadened and deepened amongst various part of the population. Correcting and changing the policy, by broad public awareness of social and environmental justice amongst other things, is necessary in this situation.
The Teaching Manual "Justice for Man, Justice for Land" reminds us that we must preserve the public assets owned and controlled by the public, so that public interest be guaranteed, including: land, water, air, natural preserves, energy, facilities and so forth. The manual allows us to take a critical point of view while observing the neighborhood and our city through the perspective of environmental justice, and reclaim our link to the land.

The Fourth Activism Festival - Go!
We are now starting to work towards the fourth activism festival this year held on Shavuot, seemingly in Lud. Our ambition is to create a stronger connection between the activist community and a local community awakening to action. The Fair Trade project has begun and is inviting you, the bold and the beautiful, to join! If you have a special talent or relevant skill (importing, marketing, design and even advertising), or if you are interested and feel like helping - come join a thinking team meeting once a month to become a partner in the constant decision making in the project.
In the beginning of February the imported products will finally arrive: coffee, tea, and fair trade cocoa, and additionally the fair trade organic palestinian oil will begin to be sold. The products will be designed by students of Design and Visual Communication in Betsalel, guided by Ruthy Kantor. The products are to be sold in stands and direct distribution, and possibly also through coffee shops and health and nature stores. Still, there are many questions to answer, both practically and idealogically, and we would like to share our thoughts and considerations with you, the Green Action members, in order to build a both meaningful and effective project.

Do Environmental Organisations Hurt Native Cultures?
A worldwide murmur throughout the environmental movement! Mack Chapin, an anthropologist with years' experience working with native communities worldwide, claims the rich environmental organisations are united with the forces threatening local cultures. The article he published in the last WorldWatch edition is causing a havoc amongst actvisits.

"Garden Watchers" Workshop for Actvisits
The workshop is for all our good friends fighting the bad guys to save the world. Idealogies, corporations, authorities, entrepeneurs, sometimes it seems that we are helplessly facing a giant evil creature. A creature whose every being is to gather more strength, money and rulership, obviously on the expense of humans and the living fiber that sustains us. The dragon does not refrain from seeding fear, alienation and distrust amongst men, as a main strategy for fulfilling its greed. With charms of illusions he pulls men to serve him worshippingly.
In the workshop we will learn strategies for action, and practical technics. With mind and matter. We will learn how to sneak towards the dragon, aim and hit its heart, and train it. We will learn how to defend ourselves and our friends, while we struggle to save the world.
The workshop will be held on 17-18/12/04, beginning on Friday afternoon and ending on Saturday evening, shortly after sunset. Participation cost 70-200 shekels, according to ability. We will cook vegan food, please bring personal dishes. Bring a sleeping bag, we will sleep in a tipi. The workshop will be held at any weather.
